Public transport should work for those on foot. Spirka is a high-performance mobile application built to serve arrivals instantly and compute your walking time, ensuring you never miss a bus or waste a second.
Spirka (Bulgarian for "Bus Stop") was born out of a desire to simplify the city's commute. While many transit apps are cluttered with map interfaces, we focused on immediate utility. Developed by Livotov Labs as a free gift to Varna, it is 100% heart and zero tracking.
The Pedestrian Focus:
Every feature is optimized for the real-world commute.
No searching required. Upon opening, Spirka uses GPS to instantly pinpoint the nearest station and serves live arrival data from varnatraffic.com.
The app computes your current walking distance to the stop. It adjusts the display with color-coded hints, warning you if your walk time exceeds the bus arrival time.
Bind your favorite stations to specific places like "Home" or "Work." When you are at those locations, your preferred stations are automatically pinned to the top.
Our vertical timeline shows your progress in real-time, highlighting upcoming stops and arrival estimates as you travel.
Moving away from generic mobile design, Spirka utilizes our custom Composables UI Kit. We’ve implemented a high-fidelity "Glass" aesthetic featuring backdrop blurs, high saturation, and modern typography with bold, "iOS-native" high-contrast feel.
Spirka is built on the cutting edge of mobile engineering using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP). This approach allows us to deliver a world-class experience on both iOS and Android with 95% shared business logic and native 60 FPS performance.
